Hello guys !! Thanks for this great forum !!
I have a question for you if you can help me: i have Iphone6 and GoPro 3+ , so, i d like to mix the videos for a final movie.
which resolution do you recommend if i need to do some slow motions (i think with 60fps can make a basic slow motion right?).
Also, any other advise to set on both devices before going out shooting ? Thanks !!!

Welcome to the forum.
Both devices offer 1080p recording @ 60fps (at least the GoPro 3 Hero Black does this, don't know about earlier models).
If you only shoot for slow-motion this is the setting you should use. Shoot @60, edit @30 and use the "Automatic Speed" feature of FCP X to get instant fluid slow-motion.
Here you can find some tips on shooting with the GoPro3:

And here's some tips on how to shoot videos @60fps using iPhone6:

GoPro and iPhone both shoot at faster speeds, at 720, which we do quite often, for super slow-mo. Just understand how FCPX "conforms" frame rates in a timeline when you use that function. Always edit in 24fps, shoot in 60 or higher.

Thank you Guys !!!! ... because the fullHD resolution is a really desired requirement, i ll shoot at 60fps on both cameras. I ll have a little margin for "quick" slow motions, but it s better to keep the resolution so if i need to make any good slow motion i shall use the go pro (has more FPS on full HD) .
Thanks again !! i m learning day by day !

What happens whenu have video files and 60 fps but u dont want to slow them and just use them in the native speed to see it as smooth as it can?
I shoot lots of videos at 60 fps, some I slow-motion them and some not, but if i render to anything below 60 fps i get choppy videos.
Any advice?
Im importing mov files to fcp after converting them im goprostudio
