How to keep scratch disk on internal fast SSD and project on external HDD? was created by delirium trigger
How do you, in Final Cut Pro X, use your internal SSD for fast editing but keep the files as well as the project on the HDD? In Adobe Premiere I am able to do this, it ask me where I want each thing to go. I can’t find anything on Final Cut Pro x that says anything like that. However, I googled it, and it seems to be possible.
I want to put the rendering on the SSD, etc. I do render certain parts. I keep background render off but sometimes a color grade doesn’t come in good until I render it.
If I just run the program from my internal and everything else is in external does that simply do it?
