Does FCPX have something like After Effects - Pixel Motion Blur?

best to my knowledge, you need a 3rd party plug-in for "[strike]fix[/strike] blur it in the post" ...
www.revisionfx.com/products/rsmb/
is the same company, which produces the famous Twixtor
no chance of re-shooting with a slower shutter-speed?

famous last words from the Director/DoP
"We fix it in the post!!" :woohoo:
No hands-on with AE, sheer curiosity:
How does AE handle it, to dffer background/foreground ? Do you have to mask it manually?
Or is AE smart enough to identfy "ahh, this is the actor, and this is just a car, passing by"?
... I find those automatisms plain awsome; to tag persons via face-recogniton ... or, latest find in the Manual of my camera: 'auto-focus on eyes' (yepp, consumer device) ... or those motion trackers ... that's beyond my horizon. :S

Motion does have some filters/behaviors what will do this, perhaps not with as much control. The effect basically blurs that is moving in the video, and leaves the rest alone, based on changes in individual pixels.
