Hi! I'm new in this forum. I've edited two animated feature films in Premiere Pro. Now I'm moving over to FCPX, and using it both for post production stuff on the second feature, and also editing a short on it.

Anyways!

I'm preparing TC for audio post sync, and would like to arrive at the postprod facility with printed lists of the timecodes we will focus on for audio work. So I've imported the film into FCPX, and used the keywords in the Event viewer to mark regions we're working on for each session. Is it possible for me to export a human readable list (not XML) of these keyword regions? Or is there a better way of preparing a cue list?

I think this program will give you what you want - it's called Producer's Best Friend: assistedediting.intelligentassistance.com/ProducersBestFriend/

You can use keywords, markers, roles, etc.

Thanks for the tip. That looks like an awesome piece of software, will invest in it when I get deeper into FCP X.

I found a small free tool called keywordExtractor from Spherico. Works perfectly for now:

keywordExtractor looks exactly like what you were looking for. Plus, Andreas Kiel, the brains behind spherico, does awesome work and is very helpful on thIs forum. I always like to support that.
