FCP 10.2.1 Export Issues

I have been having some issues with FCP lately. I hadn't updated to Yosemite because I did not like the new design, and I was using FCP 10.1.1. One day, FCP started getting stuck at 0% exporting and would not cancel the export after getting stuck. I had to quit the app and reopen it to get it to export. This problem then started happening with every export day after day. I made it part of my routine to edit my video, then quit the app, then reopen it, then export. If I made any changes to my project after reopening FCP, it again would not export. This is a huge inconvenience to me because I run a daily vlog series, so I edit a ~10 minute video every night , and by the time it's all edited, I just want it to export so I can get it uploaded. I figured that updating FCP would do the trick, so I swallowed my pride and updated to Yosemite and FCP 10.2.1, but I still have the same problem and it's driving me crazy. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me, and is there a solution?

I don't think this has anything to do with FCP X.

Create a new admin user, log in with the new account and launch FCP X.

Then create a new Library, import some footage into it, make a new Project, put some clips on the timeline and try to export the timeline. Do you still have the exporting issue?
