Export multicam from browser? was created by dkag7
Is it possible to export a multicam clip via the browser, or better yet send a bunch of them to compressor?
I dont need all the angles, the default video/audio angle is fine.
So far what I have looked at is there is no way to do this.. hope I am wrong.
thanks
Kurt

You have to export one at a time, there's no batch export in FCPX at this time. You can batch them in Compressor, but you're running the Send To Compressor command once for each clip.

If you try to export a MC from the browser, the export function is available, but it will export the timeline, not the selected MC clip.
The only way so far I found is to dbl click a MC clip in the browser so it opens in the angle editor, then export.
I dont remember now for sure, but once the MC clip is loaded in the timeline, you can probably batch within compressor after a 'send to compressor'..
Still pretty pathetic though for 170+ clips.
