I'm recording audio on my Canon HF20 with another canon as second camera.
Is it possible to detach audio from the HF, use as the primary audio source for Multicam?
As I've seen in many tutorials, there's a separate audio track used and the cameras sync to that audio.

Not sure you would want to detach the audio. You can select any multicam clips audio in your project timeline and even switch between them at any time as the main audio in your program. Maybe I'm not sure of what you're asking.

I found the answer on youtube. You were correct, there was no need to detach.
