I have made some voice over and made them sound quite good with help of filters. But now I want the voice to sound like it came from old time radio. Is it possible to that with FCP effects, or are there third party effects ?

You'll find audio effects specifically designed to sound that way right in FCP X. They can be adjusted, but are pretty good presets to start. :-) look in the "Distortion" category in the Audio Effects browser...

Can't sleep? Try this: fcpxpert.net ;-)

Thank you so much, I am experimenting with the distortion and I am almost there. :) And right before my eyes "Vintage Radio" :cheer:

Also in Channel EQ presets, "07 EQ Tools" there's a "Telephone EQ" which I've used a quite a bit in the past.
And a BUCH to pick from in Distortion, as mentioned before.

There are quite a few ways you can pull a decent sound with Final Cut's native plugins.

Specifically you want to use an eq, get rid of some of the high and low frequencies to taste, maybe even boost some of the frequencies between 1-3kHz a tiny bit.

Feedin in a little bit of distortion might help too, but be care full not to lose you're intelligibility.

But if you were in the market for something quick and easy to use, I made a nice discovery a month or 2 ago and shared it somewhere else on here... Butch Vig Vocals

It's great sounding and easy to produce a lo-fi sound, but also great in general use just to polish up some dialogue, so it's useful in more ways than one.

Oh then there is this, The King's Microphones.

I just checked my email and saw it sitting there, on sale too!! Although, this might sound more like old-time radio, it might still work for your purpose.
