Slip and multicam driving me crazy!

Slip and multicam driving me crazy! was created by mitchino
I'm editing a music video using multicam. I've put all my cuts in but want to shift a couple of clips a few frames forward and backwards to sync up better.
I'm sure I used to do this no bother, but for some reason at the moment it's putting all the other angles out of sync. I select the trim tool and drag the clip left and right on the timeline. When I now hit play, all the clips in the angle viewer have gone out of sync.
What am I doing wrong? I know I've done this without a hitch in the past!

Don't use the trim tool in the timeline. Make the sync adjustment in the angle edit. If the sync is drifting you'll have to cut the multicam clip do it can be adjusting in separate clips in the angle editor.

Try using the position tool (P) instead of the trim tool. Works for me.

How are you getting the position tool to work? it just moves the whole clip?
I'm sure I used to achieve this easily. For example: I cut between angles in the multicam editor to produce a rough edit of a music video. Then I might have a shot of the drummer that I want to slip to a dfifferent part of the song where shot looks better, so I slip it along a few frames or seconds, but still maintain the beat.
I'm sure I used to use the slip tool to achieve this... and without affecting all the clips in the multicam clip.
Anyway for now I'm just adding extra clips above the main timeline and slipping them.
