Hi, my latest edit is running quite long - 40 min which is running very slowly when I try do anything like making a cut or even selecting a clip in the time line.
I recall that there was a something I should do - something like clearing Permissions or something which I have forgotten - please can you remind how to do this... Sorry for not been more explicit.

Delete render files via the File menu, "delete generated media".
Delete user pref files, hold Opt-Cmd while launching FCPX.
