Moving clips small amounts in a multicam clip

I'm editing several music videos, recorded on multiple cameras with multiple takes. I'm using multicam to edit them.

In the main edit, I manually line up sync beeps on a master audio file with recorded sync beeps from the multicam by looking at the audio waveforms. This works great and I have fine control using the mouse.

Sometimes the multicam clips are not synced perfectly with each other, so I open up the multicam clip and try to use the same mouse technique to line up the clips looking at the audio waveforms. I don't seem to have the same fine control, the clips jump as if snapping is on.

How can I get that same sub-frame control in the multicam clip as I do in the main edit?

Might be stupid, but did you disabled the Snap option ?
Keyboard key is "N"

It's not a snapping issue, checked that.

When I move individual clips in around in a multicam clip they seem to be 'snapping' to one frame increments, which I suppose makes sense.

However in the main edit, I seem to be able to align clips with sub frame accuracy, just wondered why I can't do that inside a multicam clip.

You can't move video in sub-frame increments because a frame is the smallest increment that videos have. Only audio can be moved/rippled sub-frame wise.
