quick question about presets was created by surferrgirl
I'm trying to share/upload my presets however I can't find my saved ones! I searched under movies and found all the other presets I've downloaded and the ones that come with fcpx however my saved ones aren't showing up.
Whats weird as well as that usually the presets are under PROAPPS but for some reason mine are located under the movies section . I'm using Yosemite, 10.1.2, also I should mention some of the presets I'm trying to share are modifications of the saved ones could that be the reason its not showing up? Help pls going crazy.

Select the saved preset in the effects browser and use reveal in finder and it will show you where it's stored.

Plugins or Prestes for Color Board, Share, etc?
For plugins:
Anything you create yourself, or have gotten from another users should be in
[user name] > Movies > Motion Templates > [Effects/Titles/Generators/Transitions/Compositions]
Third party plugins that use an installer, or the ones that come built-in will be in system folders you don't want to mess with.
And as Tom says, right-click on one in the Effects Browser and select "Reveal in Finder" to see where it is.
But if they're not showing up, then open a Finder window, type the name into the Search field (top right), and see if you can find it. Upgrading FCPX shouldn't touch any 3rd party or self-made effects templates.
