Hi guys,
Be most grateful for a quick tip. I'm baffled in FCPX as to how you complete a match cut between the source/browser window and your timeline. For example, I have a wide of a person in my timeline. In my browser I look for a close-up to cut with the wide and I want to check various things in the frame for continuity. Only when you toggle between the timeline and the browser, the timeline viewer is replaced with the browser viewer and I can no longer check continuity using two images on-screen simultaneously like I would in FCP7 or Avid. What am I missing here? I just can't get my head round how you do this in FCPX as comparing two-frames simultaneously has always been crucial for continuity editing.
Many thanks for any tips!
Cheers
Pete

You could set up a multicam to do the same, create 2 or 3 "tracks" in the multicam, cut between the 2 or 3 tracks, as they will be in sync, you can find the correct spot...Multi-cam in FCP X is such a powerful tool, I am surprised it is not talked about more...
