Hello again:
My SD card disappeared from the event library and doesn't come back when I reboot. I'm new to FCP X so I'm sure that it was something I did. The SD card shows up on the desktop and the files are on it but it doesn't appear in the Event Library. Please help.

The event library? What version are you using? Did you try opening the import window?
