Footage Softens... was created by jeremey
I'm working in 10.2 and I have some footage in my timeline that for some reason had become soft/blurry. When I look at the raw footage it's fine and if I adjust any parameters (scale, position, filters) it will be sharp again for a second and then becomes soft again. Any ideas?

Try setting playback to better quality rather than better performance.

What Tom says.

And if you applied any filters or effects to the clip, you can try and render that clip and see how it looks, assuming you have "Render in Background" switched off in Preferences.

If you see the orange render line above the clip, you know it needs rendering.
