Please can anyone explain why FCPX will not read from my card or card inside camera (when connected). I have a Panasonic HMC-150 and the firmware is updated. FCPX will see the files but only have audio (no video) the video looks like it was shot with the lens cap on because the audio is fine. FCPX reads my card from my Panasonic GH3 and Panasonic GF3 fine but not the video camera. Has anyone experience this before?

I am a an Avid Editor trying to learn how to use this app fully. I would appreciate any information to help make my experience pleasant.

I am editing on a iMac 27 inch, Mid 2010 Processor 2.93 GHz intel Core i7 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB on Yosemite version 10.10.3
