Good Day:

I'm new to FCP X 10.9.5 so be patient with me. On Final Cut Express You can make a clip transparent by pullin the bar at the top of the clip down to the amount of transparency you want. How do you do you do this on FCP X 10.9.5?

You can change the Opacity in the inspector, or select the clip and press Control-V for video animation in the timeline.
