Switching to Adobe Premiere from FCPX - IT HURTS!

I know this might be an odd topic for a FCP forum, but I'm hoping some professionals here live in both worlds. I know FCP pretty well, but recently my job is forcing me to switch to Premiere... and it's kinda painful. The thing I am missing the most are those AMAZING built in FCP transitions, text effects, backgrounds and sound effects. Am I missing something or does Premiere/Creative Cloud not come with that stuff?

Forgive me if this is not the right forum, but I am seriously missing Apple's easy to use interface and amazing add-ons. Thanks!

Same reason I doubt Resolve will be a strongly used NLE, clunky interface, slow to navigate, etc.

I use Pr quite a bit and, no, it doesn't have any of that stuff. The nicest thing I can say about it is that you can edit with it. :-)

I'm really surprised to learn this, considering it's significantly more expensive...

I think in the end, I'll end up using BOTH applications for what I need.. Thanks for confirming

Adobe would like you to rent After Effects and Audition as well. IMO, they kind of "cripple" Premieres ability to do the kinds of things you mention. Get AE and Audition and you can do all that. Not as easily as X, but there you go... :-)

Of course maybe you persuade your company to move to FCPX instead. What's all this attraction to clunky? ;)

I desided exactly the same decision. :( Now training Premiere Pro CC.
Yes, it hurt to do that. But have no more time to so many app problems...

If you think you'll have no more app problems using Premiere, I have some sad news for you... You're gonna have problems. In any NLE actually.
