Moving synced clips between events

Okay, so i'm guessing this is a very basic question, but its driving me nuts...

I synced a bunch of clips in Sync n Link and the resulting XML imports as a new event with keywords. I want to move the synced clips (with or without the keyword collection) to my original event.

I can't move them. I can't copy them and I don't get why.

Okay, so merged the events. Simple as that, although I assume there is a better option?

What would be better than merging events? Do you want two events?

Copying/moving clips from one Event to another should bring their keyword collections with them. I just tested to verify that.

How are you unable to copy or move clips?

Merging events wasnt a bad option in this case, because it was just a small one to sync and I would have deleted it anyway. If it was bigger, it would have been inconvenient.

Well; I have no idea why it doesnt copy. I get the green +, drop them and then nothing freaking happens. Ill try again tomorrow (at work), maybe it was a temporary bug or whatever.

It's working fine for me. Could try quit/relaunch FCPX, see if that helps. If not, try deleting prefs.

Ok so, after testing it at home I'm getting it.... I just have to remember that I cant copy or move clips from a KC in one event to another KC in another event and that I should drag it on the event first.

On to the next.

Yeah, copy/move the clip itself, the KC will follow it.
