Upgrading from 10.1.4 to 10.2 install taking too long was created by tvr
I'm upgrading from 10.1.4 attempting to get to 10.2.
Still running Mavericks.
Not sure now if it is wise to upgrade to Yosemite from what I've read online, reviews, etc.
On a MacBook Pro early 2010.
Install to upgrade to the latest 10.1 version before 10.2 is seeming to take forever.
It's now been over an hour that it says "Installing" on the App Store.
Any insight?

You cannot run FCP X 10.2 on Mavericks. If you don't update the OS to Yosemite 10.2 first, there is no use in downloading FCP X 10.2.
