Problems exporting MXF after 10.2 update

When I try to export a project to the 108025i XDCAM HD 50 Mbps setting. I get an SD export with high squeeking sound. I tried it on two different systems (a MacBook Pro Retina and a MacPro 2013 both running FCP X 10.2 and OS X 10.10.3) with different footage.

If you look at the settings in Compressor they seems fine, but once you put the settings on a file is changes to 720x576

Does anyone has the same problem?

Are you using Send to Compressor? Exactly what setting? What are the FCP project properties?

I am having the same issue. Tried it direct from the timeline to share preset and sending a master Prores through compressor. I get the same results every time. Squeaky, glitchy audio and an SD picture.

I have sent a file to our broadcast distributor, they are taking a look. to see if they can help.

Unfortunately i updated our last system to 10.2 this morning as we hadn't had any issues. Typical.

To get around it I duplicated the Compressor setting like so:








I normally export out directly from FCP X (Except M&E EP masters)... but due to deadline I went via Compressor.

I will test this direct from FCP X in a few days and will let you know.

There are a few funny glitches with 10.2... Sometimes when I manipulate text in the inspector, I lose the Viewer on a secondary display... just have scopes left behind.

Also some behaviours with plugins like Magic Bullet Looks... but you get that with fresh, new software!

Tried this. Didn't work for me. I have managed to use a previous version of compressor on another system to do it.

I have tried it in FCPX via the share menu. I have imported there some of the standard MXF settings. The one I use is 108025i XDCAM HD 50 Mbps. I also tried to export a ProRes first and export via compressor. I think there is something wrong with the Pro Video Update

I agree. I think this is a bug with the codec or the new compressor. It's caused a real headache for me today.

Have you done this update? I used the standard MXF 1080i25 XDCAM HD 422 50Mbps from inside FCP and got the correct result.

Yes I have did this update.

I now did a whole re-install of everything including Yosemity and everything works fine now. Thanks for your help

I deleted the MXF presets in compressor. Installed the update above and then restarted. All is now fixed.
