Export timeline was created by peppespizzapie
I was just wondering. I know its possible to export a project. But is it possible to export a complete timeline from a project to another fcpx on another mac?

Yes. Right-click a Project in the Library. Duplicate it without of the two options that include the media it accesses. Target a connected portable drive. Take that drive to another computer with FCP X.

Hi, i did what you said. Maybe I'm doing something wrong (I'm a beginner).
I do have the project on my other mac, but not the timeline.
Does that mean i have to start all over again?

How can you have a Project and not a Timeline? A Project is a Timeline.
My previous post was typed really badly! Wow, I'm sorry about the wackiness. Go here, look at how to copy and move projects.
