The way I read this is that full resolution can be obtained with 1GB VRAM, but any less than that will display and export at lower resolutions. The images sure look nice on our MacPro with Radeon HD 5870 that has 1GB VRAM. Have you noticed a drop in resolution compared to a 2GB video ram system?

Yes, I should have typed "at least 1GB VRAM or better". I'm doing all this while running the aisle of NAB. It gets rushed and confusing.
