INFO update FCPX

i, sorry for the question and I hope I do not have the wrong section, I wanted to know when and planned update to FCPX version 10.1.5?

I called Apple and they told me it's gonna be out on the 35th of janutoberary

No one ever knows when the next update will be released. Not even beta testers know. I'd bet the developers don't know until the last minute. And if someone does know, they're under such strict NDA with Apple, they'll never tell you. Everyone enjoys speculating on it, though.

The tea leaf readers on this board say, an update is imminent - who cares? the 15 updates since it apearants were free - you can purchase FCPX today, and the updates comes tomorrow, everything's fine, you haven't waste any money.....

after reading this whole forum post...i feel like everyone was reading into each other's posts the wrong way. Some people thought it was about them...but it was about something else. I would re-read the posts through and through and see what might have happened. Something tells me the main issue was different language innuendos for the most part.
