keyer picking black not green??? was created by dfphoto
Hello group, yesterday I shot for a new client and they secured a studio stage as the location. To my surprise there was a green screen wall and black-ish floor.
I thought keyer in fcpx would do the trick on the wall but to my surprise keyer is picking black to key out. I"ve never used it and I'm sort of freaking out.
If you can please share what I can do or any options I'd appreciate it.
Here's a screen grab of my setup, perhaps my green is too yellow?
Thank you so much, David

Step one, in most tutorials not mentioned: put the Playhead anywhere into your clip you lilke to key.
That 'black as matte' usually happens. when the playhead/skimmer is parked between two clips ...
Step two, spend 12minutes with Mark&Steve:
a very comprehensive overview, what all those switches and sliders do ..
… for our school projects, we use the worse greenscreens ever! And FCPX does a great job, even in full auto mode!....
