Been a lurker on this site for a long time, wondering if someone can shed some light?!
weird problem.. imgur.com/aChF4TF
I'm getting stuck at export at 59% then final cut freezes and i'd have to force quit it. This is the first time i'm having a problem like this, now my clips aren't even showing.. (unless i mouse over them) I updated to 10.1.4, deleted all render files and problem persists.
I also verified my RAID drive and it doesn't seem like it's having any problems (read and write speeds are fine)
thanks for any insights or help in advance.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.
Check your RAM. Are you sure all your Ram modules are still good?
If the RAM is okay, provide some specs about your system:
- What computer?
- How much RAM installed?
- Which OS?
- How much space do you have left on your system drive?
I see you have a lot of Events inside this one Library. It may be possible that your system has trouble caching everything.

RAM seem to be normal according to activity monitor, before the projects freezes however it would take up ALL available ram then freezes.
iMac 5k 2014, 24GB ram, yosemite, scratch drive 500GB/4TB remaining and internal drive 1.5TB/3TB remaining.
I did resolve the problem by deleting the 2nd half of the project and reediting it, and started a new LIBRARY (i do this every so often). Looks like the problem also happens every time I go into that "BUGGED" project, then the rest of my final cut will be greyed out, if I restart the computer and only look at other projects then that problem wont happen.
Also, anyone have any tips on how to organize my projects a little better? other than starting new libraries every so often. I want to archive the library but idk how that's a good habit. Should i also delete all the render files from unused/finished library and projects?
