Keyer drops frames

I have a problem with the keyer. I applied the keyer effect to a multicam clip to get rid of the white background. It works quite good. But randomly the keyer drops a frame. So just for one frame the white background shows up instead of the composed grey background. It looks like the keyer drops randomly a frame. This results in a really annoying flickering/flashing.

I also applied a mask the remove unwanted shadows in the upper left corner. The mask is on top of the keyer (applied as last effect). Thats why in the attachment, the middle frame has a cut off left side.

Ive trashed all render files, deleted the keyer and set it up again, restarted my system... but nothing helped.

Does anybody knows how to get rid of this filckering.

Do you mean that when you render the timeline and you play the edit you still see these random flashes?

Hi Ronny
Thanks for your interest. I think i figured it out. It was because I copy/paste the keyer. I deleted it and applied a fresh keyer effect and set every slider manually (instead of copy/paste). Now it works without flashes.

Thought I could copy/paste the keyer because every clip had the same specs.

Hi Joni,

Thank you for posting your solution. Actually you can copy/paste the keyer just like with any other effect. But apparently in your case this messes something up in your clips. Good to know this can happen.
