C300 Spanned Clips in 10.1.4

Hey everyone, this used to work fine for C300 clips when we were using the Canon XF plugin, and it would read the spanned MXF files fine and rewrap them as a single clip. However, I've uninstalled the plugin per their instructions since we now have native MXF support, but FCPX is NOT bringing in spanned clips properly anymore. It brings them all in as separate clips! This is both directly from cards and also from cards copied to hard drives. Is anyone else having this problem? I could have sworn I read somewhere that FCPX is supposed to support this natively. I'm running 10.1.4 with the Canon MXF plug-in and everything seems to work. You say "per their instructions" - whose instructions are you talking about?

I have 10.1.4 on all my machines and the latest version of FCPX with the Canon plug-in. Everything is working great and all our Canon C300 footage comes in fine. Just curious where you read; it was recommended to remove the MXF plugin? There is nothing posted on Cannon's Pro User Website and I can't find mention of that in any of the FCPX guidelines. Maybe best to just re-install the MXF plugin from Canon.

Thanks guys, I'm not sure exactly where I read it, but there were some posts about how the plugin might be interfering with things since FCPX got native MXF support. Turns out... that's wrong, and you still need the plugin for importing to work properly. I reinstalled the latest plugin, and it all works fine.
