Fcpx gopro footage at 120fps not recognised format ?

When I went to import footage shot at 120 fps from my gopro a pop up said it wasn't a compatible format or something along those lines and that it would import at a lower rate

Seems quite weird that fcpx wouldn't be compatible with 120fps ?

I'm doing something wrong arnt I ?

Going to phuket for a family holiday soon so have been practising different settings in the hope of finding the best setup

Have a 64gig card and would rather not have to buy another so hoping 64 is enough
It's not is it ?

Not taking the laptop
$3000 laptop in a hotel room in Thailand or purchase another $150 memory card

What model GoPro are you using?
What format/mode are you shooting in?

HHHmmm... OK, cause my Hero3+ works just fine. I've not had the new one to work with yet.
