Hi,
There is this clip on a mucilage clip that I need to stabilise. The feature is not there.
I have tried also in the angle edit and nothing.
Have also tried replacing the clip from the browser...nothing.
Any hints?
Any other good stabiliser plugs one should get?
thanks
joni

Try Coremelt's Lock & Load. They offer a free trial and some tutorials on their site so you can see if it works for you. I haven't used the FCPX stabilizer since I got it... YMMV

Are you saying you don't see the Stabilization section in the Inspector for a clip in the Timeline, or in the Angle Editor? Or that you use it, and it doesn't work well enough?

He may be talking about this situation: you have a big sync'd multicam clip, you go through and make edits. Only then does it become apparent which small portions need stabilization, yet it won't let you stabilize those in the timeline. You have to backtrack to the base clips and correlate by timestamp. It seemed very non-intuitive and laborious. Do I misunderstand the procedure?

I'm looking at a Multicam clip in a Project Timeline right now. I can select any clip in that edit and I have Stabilization in the Inspector for it. I can go back to the Multicam Angle Editor and apply it there. So I'm not sure what's going on. I don't know what has to be correlated by timestamp.

Have you tried to right click on the clip and choose open in timeline?

Oops, my bad, I was opening a non-multicam clip by mistake. It is NOT available per-clip in a multicam edited into a project timeline. But it is available in the Angle Editor.
In a multicam clip, when you right-click, you can only Open In Angle Editor, not int a timeline.
