Weird FCPX Music Cutting Out Bug?

The music in a video I'm editing just suddenly cuts out when being played back. It wasn't doing this earlier, and there is no volume changes or anything done to the music clip to make it instantly go silent. No idea what is happening here...bug? I do the same kind of videos every single day and have never experienced this...

I've tried re-linking the clip, no dice. I tried dragging another instance of the audio below it on the timeline and it plays back fine...if i put that section in the secondary storyline thats holding the music, then the same music cut out happens.

The original music track on my desktop plays back all the way through just fine, as well as the clip in the FCPX Browser. I'm absolutely baffled.

Maybe I'm missing something really obvious?

I've had this happen before. I just reimported the music track and it seemed to do the trick. Kind of a weird/rare bug.

I too have had this happen - a couple of days ago. Reimporting 'fixed' it for me too. What surprised me was that I hadn't been doing anything with the clip and it had been in place and working for a couple of weeks.
