Send to Resolve after Coremelt plugins

Hi there,

Can you just confirm the following? If I send a timeline to Resolve and some clips have been processed via Coremelt plugins (Lock & Load and Object Remover) the information won't be translated, right ?

Shall I then make a sequence of DPX ?

Thank you!

I can't confirm (but I suppose it won't translate unless CoreMelt plugins work inside DaVinci too), and I don't have those plugins to check it.

But... I would send the xml to DaVinci so I could grade the original files. Export from DaVinci, import the clips to FCPX and then re apply the core melt plugins inside FCPX to the graded exported clips to get the same result as in the offline edit.

Hope it helps.

Yes thats correct, our plugins don't work inside Resolve so you will need to apply them to the graded footage after you return from Resolve.

Or you conform / relink clips with coremelt FX applied within FCPX to your high res material before going to resolve....!
