Trouble Matching Color from 2 Cameras

Trouble Matching Color from 2 Cameras was created by Rbelfi
I'm having a real hard time matching the footage from these two shots, the 1 camera's footage never seemed to be white balanced and while I've been able to get other parts close, this looks nothing the same. I've tried match color and adjusting the color board as best I could to get all the yellow/orange out, but this is as best as I can get without become too blue. Anyone have any ideas that may help?

You might want to check into this plugin:
fxfactory.com/info/hawaikiautomatch/
or just take a look at this tutorial from Ripple Training:
www.rippletraining.com/products/final-cu...-in-final-cut-pro-x/
Overall, I think the Ripple Training tutorial will be the better value in the long run and I also think that there is a segment that talks specifically about matching shots.
Good Luck

FCPX really needs work in this area..
A setup of viewers with before clip, clip you are coloring, and after clip would be nice.
What I usually do is add a transition between the good and bad (clip you are trying to match) clip. Use a wipe transition and park the playhead in the center of of the trans so you can see both clips at the same time.
Now color correct the bad clip comparing to the good one.
I think I posted a transition I made for this here in the plugins area.. I forget the name of it now however, its been a while.
messing with the white balance and exposure goes a very long way in matching shots, I find many times using this gets me much more closer than just using the color board.
Use exposure settings and get as close as possible before using the color board.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm defiantly going to check out the tutorial as I feel color matching is one of my weaker areas.
The idea of using a transition between the two does seem like a nice workaround though.
