What happens if I delete a SNAPSHOT'S PARENT?

What happens if I delete a SNAPSHOT'S PARENT? was created by victrolux
What happens if I I make a duplicate as snapshot of a parent project and then I delete the parent project… does the snapshot still function properly?
Similarly, am I allowed to rename project files and snapshots at will? Does FCPX know how to maintain the connections and integrity of all the project files and snapshots if I start messing with the names of the projects and snapshots in a haphazard order? I ask this because sometimes I just want to go through my projects and snapshots and clean up the names… or give them different names to distinguish that particular file from the others. But I hesitate to do this.
Thanks for your help.

There is no parent/child relationship with the snapshot. As soon as you make the duplicate it's left home.
Rename at will.
Rename at will.

Thanks. I think the proviso that Duplicates will have issues if you edit a compound clip or multicam clip in an earlier version but snapshots won't have that issue got me thinking about parent/child, etc. Thanks for the reassurance!
