Optimised Media was created by damiangrady
Hi there,
Quick question. If I drop some 4K RED footage into a 1080p timeline does the generated optimised media optimise to 1080p or to the original resolution of 4k?
The reason I ask is I have been working on an edit using 4k files in proxy mode and have applied some Lock & Load stabilisation to some clips but when I revert back to original/optimised media Lock and Load can't process the 4k footage.

Lock&Load does not work well with 4K media on specific hardware, especially specific graphics cards.
If you get a message that it is unable to render a clip of that depth and resolution on your current hardware, contact Roger Bolton at CoreMelt support and add a screenshot of this message along with your hardware specifications. There have been other reports about this issue, he is looking into it.
When you create Proxy media you create media hat are half the resolution of your original/optimized media. That's why you don't have problems with Lock&Load on the proxy media. Optimized media are full resolution, using the ProRes 422 codec.
