Try this.
Put a custom matte generator on the Primary, and another on the secondary.
Make them different colours.
Adjust the distortion on the top instance and nothing happens.
Adjust the scale of the top instance to 99% and the distort shows up, but put it back to 100% scale and the distortion disappears. However if you adjust any crop slider from 0 to 1 and back to 0 the distortion 'sticks'
Today I added a full screen matte generator with four layers of edited and animated text on top, then compound clipped the whole lot. I tried to animate the distortion of the compound clip so that it moved from full screen into a corner pinned position in a TV screen, in the background image. As the distortion animates through the text and generator layers pull apart with different amount of distortion. Once this faulty animation finishes after the final keyframes position the entire things flips to another arbitrary position on screen.
I've tested this on two very different setups and it was the same on both.
I adjusted spatial conforms and generally fiddled about in the timeline but to no avail.
A photoshop created matte PNG doesn't show the same problem however.
Are others seeing this behaviour?
Thanks, Duncan.
