Hi everyone,

Under the last OS and last FCPX version, I use to be able to right click on the FCPX dock icon to see other libraries I could open.. I dont see this anymore.
Is it an OS thing or is there any way to get this back?
thanks
Kurt

It is still there. It is actually a "recently opened" list, not a list of all your Libraries. Now, if you list is empty, and it very well may be after an OS update, you can still see that list.

You cal right-click on the FCPX icon in the dock, select "Show Recents". You should see a list across the bottom of your screen. But, if your list in the Dock is empty, this list may also be empty. Try it and see.

Otherwise, you'll need to open the Libraries traditionally until your recently opened list is rebuilt.

To set the number of items shown here, an in any Recently Opened list inside of most apps, and the Recent list in the Apple menu, go to System Preferences > General to find that settings. To quote the Help doc;

"Recent Items you’ve used are listed in the Apple menu. Choose how many items are listed.

This setting also determines how many recent items appear in app menus, such as the File > Open Recent menu in TextEdit."

Also, inside of an app, like FCPX, if you open the Recents list, and choose "clear recents" (or how ever it's worded), the list in the Dock will also be cleared, except what is currently open when the app quits.
