Final Cut Refusing to Export was created by Circuit Factory
Hi Guys,
I am importing a few simple Quicktime Movies into Final Cut and when I try to export, nothing happens. The timeline plays back and I can continue to edit. I just can't export. In any format.
I've tried restarting and I've tried resetting preferences.
I'm running FCPX 10.1.3 on a Mac Pro Late 2013.
Any ideas?

When you click the Share button, can you select any of the export options or ara they grayed out?

They are all there. It lets me click the button, and then nothing happens.
The project has 2 small orange lines above it (Unrendered stuff), so I keep trying to render that out, but it refuses. I then took those parts of the video out, so there was nothing to render, but it still wouldn't export. I just click the button and nothing happens. The HUD says 100% constantly.

If you have parts on the timeline that won't render you will have to check the clips under the orange lines. The clips may be corrupt or you may have applied corrupt third-party effects to them. FCP X will not allow you to export a project with corrupted clips or effects.
The best way to check this is to delete these clips from your timeline, then delete all render files for the project and try exporting again. If the export process starts correctly, stop it and add the clips again but without any effects. Then try exporting again. If the export starts this means your clips are OK but the effects you had applied to them are not.
