Syncronising and deleting audio

Syncronising and deleting audio was created by sampiano
Hello, I'm new to Final Cut Pro. I have just synchronised a superior quality audio track with the one from my camera but when I drag the synchronised track into my storyline, there is no seperate track for the better quality audio. They seem to be merged into one along with the video. If I detach the audio, I get a track with both audio files on top of each other.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Is the track set to dual mono? You can switch tracks on and off in channel configuration.

Also, right-click the clip in the Timeline, and select "Expand Audio Components" to edit each channel independently.

Or maybe you can convert your multiple audios seperately and then load them into FCP?

Control-click the synchronized clip, choose Open in Timeline. Turn the camera audio off in there.
