User license question was created by ffg
I'm in California on vacation with my son and my 2 macs are at home in the uk. I wasn't expecting to need them, but would like to do a little work on fcp. Am I 'allowed' to install fcp on my sons mbp?

You are allowed to install it on all of the Mac's that are under your control, that are logged in to your iTunes/App Store account.
Create an account for yourself as a user, log in to the App Store while logged in as that user, install. I've done this on the family iMac, and no one has access to FCPX or my stuff but me. My user account, my App Store account.
