Changing to 2nd display annoyance

I have just sent this comment back to Apple and wondered if anyone else gets annoyed with the same problem "or" if there is a way around this?

"Hi, I find myself working with 2 screens (not unusual) however I change what is on my 2nd screen regularly during editing i.e. Show Events or Show Viewer "on 2nd display".

The problem I have which is so annoying and ultimately stops me sometimes is the Show events defaults to show the 30 second view of thumbnails when reverting back from the "Show Viewer on 2nd display option. I "set" it to display thumbnails at "All" but if i change it goes back to "30sec".

1. It would be nice if it "remembered the setting when going back

or

2. Have an option in preferences for default thumbnail length."

Anyone else noticed this?

Yes, your setting should stick when swopping, agreed.
