exported file to youtube can't be played on iPhone ang AVCHD import problem.

Hi All

I have to issues, i hope someone can help me with.

1. I have made 2 video, the first one I imported as raw format and then i exported it to youtube use and its working fine on Mac/PC and iPhone VIDEO 1 but the filesize was big
I have then made another one, and imported the content and optimized / transcodes the files, and then i have also exported that to youtube use both *.m4v files, but i can only see the movie on Mac and PC, on an iPhone can't play the file VIDEO 2 can someone say whats wrong ?

2. Im trying to import an AVCHD Media file from an internal HDD in a Sony, but I cant import the file - its gray



But if i open the file in "Finder" i can see the files and play em.

Hi tpbillund,

Here is what you could try,

You could use the share button and choose "Master File"

Then when the dialogue box comes up type in your info into that tab.

Under the settings tab, in the video codec option choose H.264 in the drop down menu

Then click next

Save the file

Hope this is of help.

2. If you use the settings in FCPX File > Import and copy the footage directly from the camera this should help.
