When sharing to Apple devices 720. CPU usage are about 250 percent for 5 minutes long project ( PRO RES) Is this normal ? I would expect higher figures. Using nMP 6 cores, 16 GB RAM. Yosemite, FCP 10.1.3.

Your Mac will only use what is necessary to get the job done, no more. Using more cores for an encode, depending on codec, etc, may not always result in faster encodes. All those cores have to dump pieces back, and one core has to stitch them all back together. 2.5 cores used for a 5 minute timeline sounds pretty good to me. RAM doesn't effect encoding speed at all. I'd not worry about 2.5 cores encoding only 5 minutes of video.
And encoding to Apple Devices is encoding to a Long-GOP format, which is a ton of work.
As long as a 5 minute video is not taking any longer than 3-4 minutes...
