MISSING PROXIES? Does anyone else have the problem where missing proxies go offline randomly?

It seems like every time I open up FCPX a different set of Proxies are missing..
Does that happen to anyone else?
We are working a feature shot on the Red Dragon.

I have never heard of this issue before.
- Did you create your proxy media in FCP X?
- Where are the proxy media stored? Inside the Library or external?
- You do know that when you work in Proxy mode, every time you change the RED RAW settings for a clip using the controls in Final Cut Pro X your proxy media will go offline and you have to recreate the proxy file for the modified clip?
