Mid 2014 MBP, OS 10.10, FCPX 10.1.3.

I lost the share menu. It looks like this:

I have tried with no luck:

Restore Default Destinations
Deleting Prefs, Caches, Application Support/Final Cut folder
Deleting all Compressor related items
Using FCS Cleaner
Deleting FCPX and reinstalling

FCPX 10.1.2 works fine -- the problem is only on 10.1.3.

Here's an idea -- could this be an apple icloud account issue? I ask this regarding deleting and reinstalling -- the copy of FCPX I currently have is owned by my employer, a school. So I can't use the app store to reinstall, and because of how the app store works, I have to have an I.T. guy (re)download and zip the file and drop it on my laptop (I did this). The school has around 50 licenses for FCPX, all installed on 2014 imacs and a few new Mac Pros, all are working fine. The version on my personal laptop is the only one with this Share Menu problem. Does Apple by chance have some new anti-pirating scheme going on or something? I own Motion and Compressor (and Logic Pro X).

I am close to just buying my own copy to try and fix this, but what if it does not fix it....

Any ideas are appreciated.

Click the Add Destinations button, this will open the Destinations window.

In the Destinations window R-click anywhere in the Destinations pane and select Restore Default Destinations. This should restore your default Destinations window. When this is done you can add any custom Destinations to that window again.

If this doesn't help you should first delete your Preferences by closing FCP X and opening it again while keeping the ALT+CMD keys pressed down.

If this still doesn't help you should re-install the app from the App Store.

Thanks, Ronny.

If you look at the list of things I tried, you will see I tried all this with no luck.

Any other ideas?

Oops I didn't notice you already had restored the default destinations.

When you select a Project in the Browser and then you choose File > Share, do you get a list with Share Destinations?

Nope. And I tried a new library with a simple file import with new project.

You have done everything the right way.

Create a new admin user account and launch FCP X from this account. Does this solve the problem?

Unfortunately, no, the new account has the same issue.

Okay, then it's definitely an application issue. I'm afraid you will have to re-install FCP X from the original account at the App Store, and not from a ZIP file.
