I can import audio into a motion 5 transition but when saved the audio will not play in fcpx. Apple care says you can not have audio as part of a transition in fcpx ...is that right?
In the audio browser in motion the audio is there and plays, but the link chain has a red line thru it??

It is correct that you cannot have audio in a Motion Transition template. You should add the audio under the transition when it's on the timeline.
