Letter box and visual looks not showing was created by dimmak84

Hi guys a friend was using my Final Cut Pro X couple days ago and now the letter box effect and orange and teal setting cannot be shown. I've checked all my settings and reinstalled final cut but I still cant see the effects. Can anyone offer me some advice? Thanks.

I've included an image. It clearly shows that I've set the aspect ratio to 2:35:1 but the image is not reflecting the choice I made.
