Hi group, trying to understand what I did have been working on a project and today FCpx is telling me the proxy's are gone in the project but when I view the clips the proxy's are there.
I have been trying to A. re-render, B. transcode media again

But some clips the boxes for optimized and proxy are grey'ed out and I cannot choose.
Does anyone know what is happening?

How exactly did FCP X tell you the proxies are gone?

When you set the Viewer display to "Optimized/Original" do you see any clips with the red "Missing Media" warning in the Browser or on the Timeline?
