Can't hide or show re-time edit properly.

Hi everyone.

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. If I select all clips in project, and then go to show re-time (Cmnd-r), only a few of my clips show the re-time above the clip.

I can select clips one at a time and Commnad-r, however there are a few clips that no matter what I do will not show re-time above the clip. I do have a lot of transitions all cross-disolve.

And one other thing: If I have a bunch of my clips with the re-time showing and I select all and go to Hide re-time, it only hides a few seemingly random.

The problem is with the transitions. Where they overlap the retime control can only appear on one clip, not on adjacent clips.
