FCPX not saving properly

FCPX not saving properly was created by Pansa
Every time I quit and relaunch FCPX the fonts for my titles are not properly saved. The font itself is saved (Helvetica Neue), but its style is not (light). The style is always reset to medium. This isn't a huge problem, but it's a lengthy project and I don't want to start the color correction, then quit and restart to find that find that the color board for each shot was reset.
Is this a preference problem? I know how to delete them, but should I? I'm just a little concerned and unsure if this will disrupt my saved data in anyway.

Deleting your preferences is a fairly safe troubleshooting process and will not disrupt your saved data. However, deleting your prefs probably won't help you with this problem. This is a well-known bug in FCPX that has been reported by many users. Best you can do is join the list and send a bug report to Apple. They are working hard to get all the problems sorted out before the next update.

Hi Ronny - I often read the phrase "well-known bug" and it normally refers to an issue I've thought was unique to me and consequently wated much time trying to solve. Is there a "known bugs" list somewhere I should know about, or is it more about keeping up to speed in the forums?
Thanks - and sorry for the slight hijack Pansa, but I think we'd both like to know the answer to this one
I won't meddle any more he he

Hi Julian,
There are a couple of bug lists on the net, just google "fcpx bug list" and you will find them. The .01 update already fixed some of the issues you will find in these lists, others will be addressed in future updates.
As more people now are starting to really use fcpx seriously instead of just speculating about it, I would advise anyone who discovers any new issues to send a report to Apple. I have the impression that they are taking these reports seriously and they are working hard to get the problems fixed. The more reports they receive about a particular bug the higher it gets on the fix-list.
